Peter Kane began his career in glass art as soon after he accomplished his BA in Visual Arts from 
the University of South Australia and a BA in Fine Arts with a Scholarship from Alberta 
University. The allure of glass as a supreme material of light transmission has held his heart and 
interest for many years. With a dedication to the concept of art and the interpretation of 
angles, bends, and opposites, his glass creations imitate life.
 Whether preparing for his next gallery opening, or teaching glass classes, or traveling to his 
favorite place for glass blowing, Lankawi, Peter regards each path as one to pause and 
contemplate for the capture of his next masterpiece.
 A favorite technique, but accomplished in very different methods than “usual” is pattern bars. A 
near master of creating links and patterns drawn together with the placement of color, texture, 
and vision is Peter’s favorite topic for classes! Peter fascinates his students with a clarity of 
color interpretation and texture, put together with dramatic results that inspire his students to 
continue to explore back at their own studios

Students will make 2 different pattern bar, and 1 project in this 4 day workshop. 

All materials are included in this class. Please wear enclosed toe shoes, and bring your own glass tools (cutter, grozers and runners). Lunch is also included. If you have a special diet need

**Cancellation Policy - 

For classes taught by visiting instructors deposits are non-refundable except: 

1. If you cancel your registration more than 30 days prior to the start date of the class, you will be charged a $100.00 cancellation fee.

2. If you cancel within 30 days prior to the class, we will do our very best to fill your spot, in which case, you will get a full refund less the $100.00 cancellation fee. However, if we cannot fill your spot, you will forfeit 50% of your class fee.
